Status: 2026 American Samoa Mapping + Transit (EX2607)
From September 24 to October 19, NOAA Ocean Exploration will map unexplored deepwater regions near American Samoa as part of the 2026 American Samoa Mapping + Transit. The ship team will then transit northeast to Honolulu, bringing NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer into position for her next mission. There will be no remotely operated vehicle dives during this transit.
