The seamount explored during Dive 10 of the Papahānaumokuākea ROV and Mapping expedition is of unknown age, so the team worked to collect geological samples that can be used to determine the provenance of this seamount chain. Here, the arm of remotely operated vehicle Deep Discoverer is used to collect a rock sample.
