This sea star was seen munching away on a bamboo coral during the ninth dive of the Papahānaumokuākea ROV and Mapping expedition. In the image, you can see the exposed part of the coral skeleton where the sea star has already feasted as well as the polyps of the coral that have not yet been eaten.
